I ended up watching it out of sheer curiosity.... interesting.  I think something like this should be mandatory for kids, but I've got to ask who "loans" out thier kids for this?  No way in hell would I do it... I don't care if there is a nanny and a TV.  No way!

DH & I watch this too! I soo wanted to slap that chick too that was so selfish about the baby she was taking careof or not I should say as well as not taking the mother's constructive critism as just that.

Some of the other couples are really great though...toddlers next week!

The best little gift EVER arrived Aug 10th, and I got what I wanted and her name is Kennedy

I just hope these kids realize that they are only getting a TASTE of what it is like to be parents...really, on this show, they aren't even babysitting...I mean, when I brought my baby home from the hospital I didn't have a trained nanny/nurse standing close by in case I messed up...or the real parents only a stones throw away, you know?  These kids have no idea...none.

and no...I would NEVER loan my kid out to a show like this.  That little guy crying cause the girl wouldn't feed him broke my heart...I would have been pissed to if I was his mother.  That girl didn't like any type of critisism at all...not form the mother, her boyfriend, her 'boss' at her one day of work...what a quitter she was.

Also, I hope these kids don't get so turned off from parenthood by this show that it makes them NEVER want to have kids...just cause they aren't ready now, and just because they might suck as parents now, doesn't mean that they won't be ready to be great parents when they are a little older, and have some more life experiences under their belts.

I do watch this show, but I just feel like there is no reality here...it's one thing to look after a baby, toddler, etc., when you know it's just three days...it's completely different when you know that this is the REST OF YOUR LIFE!  Completely different mindset...am I making sense?

I saw the 1st episode, and I hated it.   All those kids are brats!  They can't handle having a baby at their age!!

I missed the show but checked out the website and the mini segments they have on there.  All I can say is what a wonderful method of Birth Control.   I certainly wouldn't be the parent to allow my child to be borrowed though.  No way.
