Ok so I'm a pretty large-chested gal, and this has never happened before.  Under my boobs, I've got like a red itch rash deal going on.  It happened after playing slow pitch one night, so I thought it was just a sweat thing or whatever, and took extra care to make sure I washed good after ball, and then I put baby powder on it that night before I went to bed (to absorb any moisture).  that seemed to help, and I figured it would clear up

NOW the skin is cracking a bit and its still red and itch.  I'm trying really hard to keep things dry under there, but in +30 heat, I sweat, I can't help it!! I've washed & dried really well, and then I've tried baby powder, unscented lotion, and last night I bought (don't laugh!) diaper rash creme hoping that might help.  Any other suggestions...sorry I know this is kind of a gross question!

Jen, does your bra rub a lot under there?  That might be what's causing the rash (well, with this heat and moisture).  No suggestions other than what you're doing.

Oww! A woman at my work got that and it turned out to be a infection and she had to take antibiotics to get rid of it. It won't go away on it's own if it's the same kind of thing

Belts, yeah, I wore an underwire bra instead of my sports bra...thats what instigated the original red and itchy-ness

eep! I hope its not the same infection!

This just recently happened to my mom, and it wouldn't go away. She knew the moisture was a problem, so she did try diaper cream rash, baking soda, etc. Finally gave in, went to see the nurse and taaa-daaa, it was actually a yeast infection

She had never had one on a normal place in her life, so this was completely new. Either way, I would get it checked out, because you never know.

I got that a few months after my son was born b/c my boobs grew so much.   I used his diaper rash cream (zincofax) to clear it up and within a week it was gone.
