My cousin got married Saturday, July 5th, and wanted to be a bit non-traditional. For the bouquet and garter toss, the groom tossed the bouquet to the single guys, and the bride removed a garter that the groom was wearing and tossed it to the single ladies. I just wanted to share because it was so cute and funny and I've never seen that at a wedding before!

Thats cute. We're not doing a bouquet/garter toss.... however I am going to hand my bouquet to my younger sister and her boyfriend is going to propose. At least that's the plan right now... he's not sure if he is able to get the time off work to come to our wedding yet though.

That's a cute idea! I threw my toss bouquet and then DH had to use his teeth and no hands to get my garter off and then he "snapped" it back to the guys. His 2 brothers and best friend were in front and the 1 brother and friend pushed the other brother into catching it. Here's where it gets exciting....it was his gf who caught my bouquet!! The DJ made him come put the garter on her leg....where he decided he had to use his mouth as well. SO funny!!!! Poor MIL and the gf were mortified....the rest of us couldnt stop laughing!!
