I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where we can b*tch about our long or irregular cycles, and try to figure out what the heck our bodies are doing!?

Since I've gone off bcp at the end of April, I have had one 51 day cycle, and am currently waiting for AF#2, I am at cd30 and have NO signs that I've ovulated OR that AF is coming anytime soon...

Anyone else with me in the frustration?

I know my problems right now appear to be just from coming off of bcp and it's taking my body a while to regulate itself... very frustrating! Here's hoping my body remembers how to O soon....

When I went off the pill in Jan 07, my cycles went wacky...I had AF on time the first month, then not at all the second month, then just very scant the month after that.  The culprit in my case was an ovarian cyst that eventually resolved itself.

My cycles are pretty regular now at around 30-31 days, but pre-bcp, I was a 28 day girl, so they definitely changed after going off.

I really hope AF comes for you soon and things settle into a predictable pattern...I know that there is NOTHING more frusterating than not being able to figure out what's going on with your body!!

I am right there with you, its so frustrating just waiting and wondering. The only thing that gets me through it is thinking some day I'll be sitting with my baby looking back and knowing it was all worth it.

Married the love of my life. Now Mrs. McQueen!
Now just waiting for baby!

I am not ttc right now, but I have recently gone of the BCP and that is effecting my cycles (or cycle, since this is the still the first on off the pill).

I am charting as a way to avoid pregnancy right now and I am currently on cd 61. It looks like I might be getting ready to ovulate - which would be cool.

I am glad I am charting though or I would be totally freaking out. Like SofaQueen, I have a small idea of what is going on.

I hope I can still chat here even though I am not ttc...

For sure you can chat here!  I'm not ttc yet.  We are waiting until September, but I'm reading up pregnancy and fertility.

Absolutely, the more "chatters" the better!

I am temp charting this cycle too, it does give me that small peace of mind to know what's going on. So far, what's going on is NOTHING! COME ON Ovaries!!! Remember what to do, you can do it!!!
