I'm so happy, at first I didn't think we would go on a honeymoon, but I looked into cruises and they were decently affordable!
I went with Princess Cruises, they arn't as cheap as some as the other companies, but they had more ports in their itinerary than the others I looked at.
after a lot of going back and forth, and looking at websites for the places, this is the one we chose.

Eastern Caribbean Islander - Roundtrip Fort Lauderdale 10 Days - 7 Ports
Wednesday November 4th 09
1 Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 12:00 AM 5:00 PM
2 Princess Cays, Bahamas 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
3 At Sea
4 St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
5 St. Kitts, St. Kitts & Nevis 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
6 Barbados 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
7 St. Lucia 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
8 Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
9 At Sea
10 At Sea
11 Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 7:00 AM

I hope we made the right choice for itinerary! It's so hard when you know nothing about all these places, they all blend together in my mind! But I am very happy with my decision to go with Princess, the ship looks so nice, I can't wait to watch a movie under the stars while in a hot tub!

You made a great choice!   We did a very similar itinerary on the Crown late last year and have another 2 cruises booked with Princess. Our next is on the Emerald as well. Though we love our land vacations, we also do love our cruises and have become addicted!     If you booked a balcony cabin, a must do is the Ultimate Balcony Dinner.  Delicious and so romantic. What could be better than sharing a glass/bottles of wine, fab food and great conversation with the one you love, all the while listening to the sounds of the ocean in the privacy of your own balcony.  Its 50.00 us pp and so worth it!  You have your own waiter that caters to you . If you love lobster, you will not be dissapointed!   Another must do is Sabatini's. Soo soo great. MUTS is something different too.  I could go on and on.

The ports of call are wonderful.   If its your first time in St. Thomas,  I recommend doing a tour with  Godfrey www.godfreyusvi.com .  For 25us you can do 1, 2 or 3 hrs of shopping, then a tour of the island and then have atleast 2 hrs of beach time at beach of your choice.  Barbados and Antigua have beautiful beaches.  St. Lucia is very lush..the Pitons and hot springs/ drive in volcano are popular. ( not one of my fav. islands though) alot of poverty and I feel soo bad for all the animals.   Princess Cays is a beach day.  Relax and enjoy yourself.

I wish you a great cruising (honeymoon) experience with Princess

Thanks for the information .
We did book a balcony suite, I really wanted one so we could hear the ocean, and we will be on the Ruby Princess, which is their newest ship, it just started sailing in 2008. I really like that we will be seeing so many places for our first trip, neither of us have any interest right now in paying so much to see only one place and stay on a beach for a week or so, neither of us are big drinkers and he's not much of a beach person so this works way better for us. Before looking into it I didn't think I would care for cruising either, I didn't know there was so much to do and how much you get to experience!
