I stopped taking the BCP Mid may, my first cycle was 27 days.. and my current cycle is so far 33 days.. so I was expecting my AF 5 days ago.. I have been testing everyday with the HPT from the dollarstore... and keep coming up negative... I used a first response on Saturday and still getting negative results..

I dont really feel any signs of pregnancy, expect minor cramping... There is no sign of AF coming on... discharge is still clear (heavier then normal).  My body does everything as "normal" when it comes to everything.. and I am in perfect health... so I would be VERY surprised for my cycle to be late...

How long do I go on like this before making a dr apt?

This happened to me the 3 cycle after I was done my BCP.  Not sure why my doctor said that my body was still working things out.

However with that being said my dear friend was 8 days late before she got a BFP and it was just because she OV late.

Do you happen to know about when you think you OV'd?

I went off the pill in September, my first cycle was 33 days long, and I have no idea how long my second cycle would have been...as I got pregnant, but I tested at CD35 and CD40 and got BFN and then tested 2 days after Christmas (like CD60 or something...LOL) and got my BFP.

Is it a possiblilty that you Ov'd late?? Good luck!

Around June 28th...

I have read of some people not getting positive tests for a while after their expected AF... I just don't know how long I should continue to wait with no AF before I should see a dr...

I am hopeful...

Maybe make an appointment, and just wait and see what happens. If AF shows up before the appointment then cancel, if you get a BFP- get confirmation from the doctor, and if no AF and no BFP, you can go see what's going on.

I agree that is actually what happened to me about 2 years ago when I first went off the pill.  I made the appt cause I was 5 or so days late and AF came truckin in the morning of my appt!

I hope that you get your BFP and if not I hope AF comes soon so you can get on your baby dancing!!!
