Hi ladies. DH and I got married 10 days ago. I am on the pill, but had mixed them up a little bit a couple of days before the wedding ( I was overtired and forgot to take 1, which I doubled up like I should ) I am on a low dose pill. DH decided that after 7 and a half years together, our wedding night would be our first time not using condoms (sorry if it is TMI). For the past 2 days, I have been feeling VERY tired, and feel like I have PMS. My period isn't due until Wednesday, and yesterday, I started having some brownish colored "blood"- but not a lot at all. It seems to have stopped already, and I am never early since I am pretty regular due to the pill. What is going on?? Is it because I messed up with my pills? Any advise would be helpful!

It's possible. Then again, whenever I was going to get my period, I would get the brownish discharge (even when on the pill), which I think is just "leftover" from your last cycle. If you are at all concerned, get a test if your period doesn't arrive as scheduled.

Not sure Amy whats up but that best thing that I can guess is it is possible that wedding stress and messing up your pill a bit did bring your AF on a bit early. If she is not here full force by tomorrow then I would be wondering and possibly take a test Are you wanting to be pregnant?

I was put on TriCyclen lo in March because my body was rejecting regular BCP after 10 years. I am really not liking the side effects, but DH doesn't want children to arrive just yet. So, for at least a few more months I have to put up with it. I think I will be speaking with my doctor the next time I am there though to have my blood levels and things done and start on some proper vitamins.
It is kind of funny- the morning after the wedding, Chris was emptying his pockets in the tux to return his rental, and he found the slip from the previous renter. The name on it was "Mitchell Thomas"- the name we have chosen for a little boy!!! He turned white as a ghost, and all I could do was laugh and tell him to keep it- just in case.
I would love to be pregnant, but DH wants to wait. He has already admitted though that he would be overjoyed if we were to get pregnant sooner than planned- he believes that children will arrive when we are meant to have them- even if we aren't planning to TTC until next August. In the meantime, I will continue lurking on this board!!
Edited to add: I am still having the slightest amounts of spotting, but nothing major yet- I just feel that this is really out of character for me- even when I switched my pills in March, I was right on schedule.

Hey ladies. Just an update. AF found me today with vengeance, and I am home sick as a result. I am probably going to speak with my doctor about my options, as I have been getting very sick since I started these pills when it is that time of month. It may be time to look at some hormone free methods for us.
