I just ordered the new Parisia dress from Maggie Sottero's Fall 2008 line.

The lady from Superior Bridal told me that it won't arrive until the third week in APRIL!! Doesn't that seem like such a long time? And my wedding is July, which doesn't leave much time for alterations!!!

What was everyone else told who ordered a new Maggie dress from the Fall 2008 line? Does everyone have to wait until April?

Engaged: January 18, 2008

Wedding: July 18, 2009

You should be fine for alterations.  But yes, 9 - 10 months for a dress to come in does seem like a long time.

It seems like a long time to wait, but I wouldn't worry about the alterations.  My dress is already in and they are not starting the alterations until mid-september.  Apparently it is better to wait as long as possible before doing them.  That way, if you have any fluctuations in weight, they are not constantly pulling it in or letting it out.

It sucks you have to wait so long, but try to be patient.  Also, it could surprise you and be in earlier.

I too bought a Maggie dress from Superior Bridal yesterday and they said it would come in April aswell... it seems so long away!! Hopefully they arrive sooner.. i can't wait to get it on again!!
