We're going to be ordering the alcohol right away, but I don't know how much of each thing to get. I remember seeing something at one point about "if you have this many people, get this much beer, this much wine, etc"
Anyone know?

| we did our own alcohol.. DH was awesome at both our J&J and our reception we only had a few things to bring back... first thing we thought of was... what was the ratio of beer to hard stuff... for us it was about a 60% beer drinkers and 40% alcohol drinkers... we had alot of partiers there and figured averaged out about 8 drinks / beers per person... some are going to drink more some less... caculated how many drinks were in a bottle 26oz bottle = 26 drinks... we stayed with basic beers Canadian, Coors light, Blue, Corrona (for his bro)... the biggest hard liquour to go was vodka, Rye then rum.. but that was our crowd.. hope that helped... good luck

| I think it is totally about the crowd as well. At my friend's wedding, almost everyone had wine and hard liquor and the beer was left over. The only catch was that you are able to return any liquor and wine, but only able to return 20% of the beer. So just make sure you don't overbuy the beer.
