| nicholch: No plans yet. Our group is at 36 I believe. I too want to take table decor. The reception pictures I have seen really shock me. I am surprised there aren't any decorations or maybe it is just a lot of extra $$$ to have???? I really wanted a private reception but I am now thinking about just having a dinner in an a la carte and heading to the live musician's for dancing and cocktails. Oh well, lots of time to think about that one! What do you think you are going to do for the reception?

Hello,
I just joined today and it has been very exciting to read all your postings. I am relieved to see that many of you have the same questions that i do!!!
I am getting married in March 2009. I too would love to have a wedding by the beach. But it appears that many people change their mind once they arrive on site. Why is the pool a better location? Do the pretty seat covers cost extra? Are they available at the beach and pool?
I would also like to have a private dining experience. Can you have speeches and a first dance in the private dining area? I too am interested in renting a projector to display a presentation that a friend is preparing. If you have an a la carte reception, do you not have speeches and a first dance?
I would love any insight into these questions!!!

Congrats...we are heading to Las Dunas next July and hoping to get married July 1, 2009. So far our travel agent was able to get us a price out of Toronto...and we got our Save the Date cards...I found a dress that I love on ebay, I'm just afraid that I will get it and then find something else I like even more!

| You will all ABSOLUTELY love it!!! It's a great resort, and you will have a great time, no matter how big, small, fancy, laid back your wedding is! I thought it was great how I could lay by the pool with friends the morning of my wedding and I didnt feel an ounce of nervousness or like I had tons to get ready. Enjoy!
