So since the baby dropped about a week ago, I have been getting stretch marks on my lower abdomen that seem to double in numbers and get bigger by the day. I also have an x shaped stretch mark where my belly botton peircing was and the strech marks on my hips are becoming red and inflamed. Inside almost all my belly/hip stretch marks I am getting red itchy bumps. My stomach didn't look bad for stretch marks until lately and now the scratching is driving me crazy!! Anyone else have this? Is there any treatment? I've just been using my belly butter and other moisturizing stretch mark creams up until now and they don't releive the itch. I'll call my Dr. tommorrow but I'm sure it's nothing serious, just very annoying and kind of disapointing that my belly is now looking this way... Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Could you maybe have developed an allergy to something?
Those creams have so much perfume.
Hope your doctor can help!

Stretch marks can get very itchy! I don't know if there's anything to be done, even after the baby was born, mine itched on & off for months.

Thanks for the advice ladies, I think I will start using my moisturizer for eczema as it has no perfumes or additives (and it relieves itching) I don't think I can really prevent the stretch marks from stretching at this point anyways

Oh no... that was how my first rash started (in the stretchmarks on my belly). I had to get a prescription from my OB for it, and it kind of helped by taking the edge off the itch.
If the rash spreads to your legs or arms, get in to see your doctor right away for a topical treatment. After I got the itchy bumps in my stretchmarks I got what looked like bug bites all over my arms and legs. It was PUPPS and was intolerable... I'm sure that's not what you have, but just be aware of it and get your doctor to prescribe something right away.
