| So, it has almost been 4 months since DH and I were married. We haven't gone anywhere together since then. NEXT weekend we are taking off to Halifax with 2 other couples for a weekend away. I am SOOO excited. i know that it is not really a trip away... it is just halifax... but the summer is nealy over and i really want to do "SOMETHING"! Here is a few pics of where we are going. the hotel 
it connects to the casino ( have only been to a casino once before) 
Little shops and vendors along this boardwalk... usually busy. some of our engagement pics were taken here.... we haven't been there since. 
of course malls, bars, and shops!!! then on the way home..... PEGGY'S COVE

| That looks beautiful!! I know what you mean about summer flying past!! We haven't managed to do anything fun with the kids, except take them bowling once  We were planning to go to the water park with the big slides (Mont Cascades, for anyone familiar with the Ottawa/Gatineau area), but it just hasn't been warm or sunny enough! And summer is rapidly winding down

| I will be at Peggy's Cove tomorrow for my friend's wedding pictures!! I will totally keep my eyes open for you! Look for the bride & her entourage in cute rubber boots!
