I am looking for ANY insight here...

I am on day 35 of the longest cycle I have had in years.  I believe I have had problems with an ovarian cyst this cycle, based on past history and a particular type of pain I have been feeling.  I appear to have ov'ed late, on CD 20 - I had a temp spike that day followed by temps that stayed well above the cover line.  I am now at 16 dpo and my temp is still up, AF is nowhere in sight, BUT I am getting all bfns on hpts.  I have NO pregnancy symptoms and NO signs that AF is coming.

As crazy as it sounds, I am now HOPING I'm not pregnant because I really feel like it would bode badly for me if I were and it was still not showing up at this point.  I am so scared that I am just pregnant enough to delay my period, but that my hcg isn't going up enough to show and I am about to have another miscarriage.  I know I shouldn't worry about that, but how can I not?!  I am trying to get through to my dr. as I write this, but in the meantime, I am looking for advice/support/whatever you can offer.

Of all the mind games my body has played with me, this is one of the worst.

Kiwi,

From what I remember we were both due to have a visit from AF on the same day (the 15th I think). Well mine hasn't showed either, and I haven't tested yet, but there is no signs of being preggos, or Aunt Flo showing, on the 15th I was having bad cramping, but nothing! I think the best advice I can give you is don't stress, be relaxed, and let things come. You are only given as much as you can handle!

Hang tough and everything will work out, just you see!!!!!

Cass, are you charting?  Do you know for sure when you ov'ed?  That's the thing, I know for sure...and I have NEVER had a 16+ day LP before...

Kirsty, the only advice I have is to call your doctor - I'm here if you need a shoulder, but I have NO medical knowledge! LOL

~~Beans~~

We did it, and it was everything I imagined it would be!

Kiwi, I don't have any advice, besides call your doctor.   I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you, and I hope whatever is going on in your body, works out for you.  Keep us posted as we are all rooting for you!!!

I just talked to my dr.  I had to beg and plead to be seen this week because my dr. is apparently "booked to the hilt" so the best the could offer me is that I go for bloodwork today and then go in on Wednesday and basically sit until they can slot me in (IF they can slot me in, I was informed).  So I guess that's all I've got to go on for now.  I am going to try to go get the blood test done immediately.
