Settle in, kids - I'm wordy! 
Makeup - Stephanie Daga from BlushPretty (www.blushpretty.com) 10/10
I couldn't have been happier about the way the makeup turned out! Stephanie was a consummate pro - she handled the time constraints perfectly, and even managed to find time to do one of our photographer's hair and my mom's makeup, which weren't on the schedule. She made every one of my bridesmaids look fantastic, and managed to do damage control on the major breakout I was having!  The makeup stayed on all night, and I never had to use the small touch-up kit she provided us with.
Hair - Maria Antonio's Hair Design, Whitby ON 10/10
If possible, I'd give 11 out of 10 for the hair staff. Three of us had our hair done by the stylists here, and not only did they finish ahead of time, but they did a fantastic job with all three of us. My stylist, Regina, has been doing my hair for years, and has never let me down. She made suggestions, and worked with the inspiration pictures I brought her, as well as with my personality

The only reason Andrea lost any marks was because the dress ended up arriving over two weeks later than she originally told me. Because I'm completely anal retentive, I ordered it WELL ahead of time! So the crisis was averted, and all was well Ordering through Andrea saved me over 60% on my Dream Dress - and I love that dress
Assorted Support Sytems 10/10
Sparkle Boobs from La Senza (small, gel filled inserts you put into your bra to make it seem like you have an actual rack, rather than an alcove).
They weren't real, but damn if they didn't look spectacular!
Also, Flash Tape from Shopper's. Myself and three of the girls used this, and none of our dresses budged, even during an...um..."spirited" dance/singalong to "Bohemian Rhapsody" that involved a lot of jumping around!
Jerry's Limousine Service 10/10
I had my doubts about Jerry's - this was one of the few jobs I entrusted my now-hubby with, and he seemed to finish it in about five minutes. Plus, we'd been screwed over in the Southport Scandal, so I was leery. But Jerry was at my parents house early, got us there with plenty of time, and came to pick us up at the end of the night right on time.
Ceremony and Reception Site: Mill Run Golf & Country Club, Uxbridge ON - 5/10
I regret signing with Mill Run for a few reasons. Firstly, despite their assurances that they'd be redoing the ballroom this summer, they didn't. So two weeks before the wedding, imagine our shock when the same ugly carpet and light fixtures were still there! It'd be a much more marketable venue if they did something about this. The other points were lost for not following my instructions about dressing the aisle, rushing the music cues for the bridesmaids, and for the indoor ceremony site being so substandard (which was a big deal, because it rained) and for refusing to set up the ceremony outside in case the rain picked up.
Good things about the venue were: The outdoor ceremony site is beautiful. The packages include everything from your pre-dinner munchies for the guest to the chair covers and dressings. Christine, the wedding coordinator, was quick to respond to inquiries I made throughout the planning process. And the food was very good!
Officiant - Grant D'Eall from All Seasons (various locations) 10/10
Grant was fabulous. He was on time for all the appointments we had with him, despite some horrible weather for a couple of them. He made all the changes I asked for, and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in our planning. He had the right blend of humour, warmth, and seriousness for our ceremony. I had complete faith in him, and wasn't disappointed.
Clarington Pro Sound (www.claringtonprosound.com) 10/10
It's not too often that you can find a DJ that wouldn't bat an eye when you tell him you want your wedding music to include the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Metallica, AC/DC, Live, and Shinedown, and that you don't want a bouquet toss but have come up with another idea. Greg helped us with the timeline, and catered to my every music pickiness whim
And finally, the photographer...

Rhonda blew us both away. Working with VERY limited scenery (due to the ugliness of the hall), she managed to capture the feeling of the ceremony. We're already having a hard time picking which photos to have blown up and framed. These are a few of my favourites!
