My SIL has offered to buy us the first couple of weeks of disposable diapers as a gift. She wants to get them next week as they are going on sale at Shoppers. I am wondering which brand to get?

It really depends on the lo. A big booty baby or a boy does better with huggies and smaller bum babies or girls do better with pampers. Though, that's not always the case some lo's skin reacts to pampers or huggies giving them diaper rashes. I think it's more trial and error.
That being said my boy does better with Huggies because he has a big jiggly bum.

I used Huggies for diapers and pampers for wipes. I also used Superstore brand diapers which were really good.

We prefer Pampers. I had to buy Huggies once because the store didnt have our size in Pampers and we didnt care for them. I found the Pamper swaddlers leaked, but the regular ones dont.

| I swear by Huggies, we tried the Pampers and we gave them away. You'll find people have a lot of different opinions on diapers. I've used Huggies for 3 kids and didn't have any problems with leaks.

I find the Pampers swaddlers for when they are not active!
Then regular pampers for when they start crawling/walking! I do not like huggies as they leaked all the time when she wore them (big and little) For wipes, I use huggies as they are thicker and easier to clean poppy bums
Good luck! Of course this always depends on the baby, so I would try both and see which ones you like the best!

I also used Superstore brand diapers which were really good.My sister did the same thing for a little while and then switched to the 7th Generation diapers. Its funny you posted this Jill because I was wondering the same thing!! I have heard really good things about the costco brand ones too.
