I have been so busy since the wedding and have not had a chance to do my vendor review and update my pictures! I hope I have everything! If I forgot something I will add it later! Enjoy!
Venue - Royal Ambassador (www.royalambassador.ca) 8/10 The Venue is a beautiful place, staff is amazing and our wedding was everything we could have ever dreamed for. From the perfectly manicured lawns and the beautiful trees, lake and tent! It was AMAZING! The people were easy to work with when you could get a hold of them. Had a couple problems trying to reach someone when I wanted to ask a question before the wedding! However within the last two weeks if I need them I could get a hold of everyone without a problem at all! So it seems that they have a priority list when it comes to answering calls. Of course I totally understand and they do have a ton of wedding throughout the year. The food was amazing; the late night buffet was beautiful! My main reason for docking a point is because they melted my cake  . The day of the wedding my ceremony was postponed because of the rain. I was getting married in the Gazebo so we had to wait almost an hour for the rain to stop! Well they left my wedding cake in the heat from (3:30 - 5:30) so it melted! I was so upset when I got in the tent (reception area) only to see my cake melting and the decorations falling off of it, it was only when I asked them to put it in the Fridge so it didn’t melt anymore that they did! Photos – Two friends 100/10 I have a friend of the family do our wedding photos! She also did our daughters pictures when she was first born! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Although we were rushed at the end of the pictures taken they turned out beautiful! We also had a friend of ours take pictures of the guys getting ready and acting as a second photographer! He also did an amazing job! Cake - Blissful Expressions (www.blissfulexpressions.ca) 10/10 Gloria did an amazing job on our cake! It was beautiful and exactly what we wanted! She came to our house and brought samples of the cakes to try before we booked. Work with us on perfecting the design and even accommodated us when I asked her if she could use my nannies recipe for the chocolate and vanilla cake. 2 weeks before the wedding she came to our house again with a sample of the cake and decorations and picked up our cake topper! Highly recommended! Beautiful work! DJ - Jerry Daniels 10/10 A co-worker of my Husband. He did an amazing job! The entire night the dance floor was packed! Everyone complemented us on the wonderful variety of music he played! Ceremony Guitarist - Derek Macrae (www.classicalwedding.com) 10/10 Wonderful to work with and an amazing guitar player. He made our ceremony perfect! I had a hard time picking songs for the ceremony but with his suggestions we got exactly what we wanted. I ended up changing my mind 2 weeks before the wedding and he was kind enough to learn a specific song to play for me to walk down the aisle. Our guests loved him! Highly Recommended! Hair - Aarts Hair Salon & Aesthetics - (519- 941-7100) 10/10 The hairdresser I booked cancelled on me a week before the wedding! My MOH (sister) was kind enough to call EVERYWHERE to find us a new one. It took forever since most places were already booked. Finally we got a hold of this company that was highly recommended by a couple other salons. They accommodated me, MOH and two of my bridesmaids. Wonderful people to work with and everyone LOVE their hair. Only problem with mine was that the curls fell out because of the heat! I knew this would happen as I have dead straight hair and curls never hold Veil & Tiara - Brides Project (www.thebridesproject.com) 10/10 Helen was amazing to work with, I sent her a picture of the veil I wanted and she was able to make it even more beautiful! It was an elbow length, scalloped edge with swarski crystals and swarski flowers. Also bought my tiara from her. Makeup - Jennifer Litt - (http://makeupandyou.blogspot.com) 10/10 Wonderful makeup artist! She came to 'my parent’s house' for a trail and the day off. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to have for my wedding as I normally do not wear makeup! She did a wonderful natural makeup application that made me glow! She also did my MOH, BM, mother, and grandmother! Everyone’s makeup was perfect all night long! Photobooth – FotoBooth - (www.fotofunbooth.com) 8/10 Everyone loved the Photobooth! I still need to scan some of the pictures to show you! Everyone got a copy of there pictures and another copy was put in a guestbook which they got to decorate with a bunch of stickers and sayings! Since my wedding started late we didn’t start the Photobooth until 8:30 instead of 8. When I asked if they could extend the time they were there for 30minutes they said no because us being late was not there problem! Was NOT happy with that remark, they also rushed a bunch of people to write something in the guest book! A little disappointed that not everyone got there pictures taken, but that was because of it not being announced properly. Wedding dress and Bridesmaids dresses - David’s Bridal 9/10 We went to the Tonawanda location, just past Niagara Falls. When I got there they told me I did not have an appointment booked which I called the day before to verify. Luckily it was not busy and they were able to accommodate us. Bridesmaids tried on there dresses first, everything was perfect. I tried on my dress next; the lady that was working with us to find the dresses was trying to make me try on size 16 dresses and told me to get them altered if they were too big. My mom ended up running around the store and found a bunch of dress in size 14 for me to try on! I ended up buying my dress their and the bridesmaids dresses so the girls got 10% off. Also bought my crinoline and bustle. Limo – H2-Worl Limousines – (www.h2-world.com) 10/10 Arrived early and accommodated the guys when they asked to go to the LCBO for some beer and drinks for us girls! Very friendly! Was able to get a package with them for only 2 hours since our ceremony and reception was in the same place
