I heard about this shoe game on CB, and LOVE the idea.. I think it's a great icebreaker too, given that about 1/3 of the guests are family members we hardly see and don't know much about the two of us.

I can't decide if I should ask my MC (my aunt) or someone from my wedding party to do it... what would you do?

It has always been the MC at weddings I have been too.

The B&G and both sets of parents sit back to back with their partner.  Each person holds one of their partners shoes and one of their own.  The MC asks questions like, who does most of the cooking, who wears the pants, who gets things started in the bedroom etc. and you hold up the shoe of the person in your couple who does.  My FH family always does this, but we will not b/c my parents are seperated and I fear that they would beat each other to death.

When the friends are gone
When the party's over
We will still belong
To each other.

We did it - just DH and I. Our MC read the questions. The kicker is that someone else has to come up with the questions - you and your FH can't really know or that takes away the fun.

We weren't sure, but it turned out to be a huge hit. We did it while people were eating (since we were fed first, we finished first).

I've never actually heard of it with the parents involved. I've always known it to be the bride and groom only. (could be wrong). We're doing it at our wedding and apparently the MOH has all the questions.

We played this too and our DJ asked the questions.
