definately with out a doubt.. take your dress and run!! Ask around and I'm sure you can find another seamstress in your area. I would not dare leave my dress in a store/with someone who was closing their business... if they run, how do you get your dress back? Get in there ASAP!

I would pick your dress up as soon as possible. As a PP said, you never know when this lady is going to stop picking up the phone altogether.

| I'd run too. I'm all about being friendly and respectful but you don't owe her your business. Especially with something so personal to you. Good luck! Jg

| Yeah...of course I'll take it and run. I don't want to chance it. I think I was just in shock. It's like my worst nightmare to lose my dress two months before the wedding. I'm going to go pick up my dress on Tuesday. She has agreed to have it ready. Still, it is kind of sad. I really liked Laura, her store and her staff. We had nothing but a positive experience there...well, until this of course.

| After a week of no returned phone calls I decided to go to Laura's Dream Bridal where I ordered my wedding dress and my maid of honour ordered her's. I showed up and the doors where locked, lights out and nothing in the store. My wedding is in nine weeks and now I have no dress! These people knew for a long time they'd be shutting down and have not had the curteousy to call their brides and let them know what is going on. Apparently she moved out of the store overnight last Tuesday... so its been five days, many messages and I haven't heard a word. I'm assuming I've lost my deposit and will not see this dress. This is disguisting.... she should at least have the curteousy to call her clients and let them know WHAT IS UP!
