What about going t Blacks or Henry's (both photography stores) and seeing what albums they have available there. They tend to have higher end products and it may be much less than $450!!

going off the top of my head, I think i have seen some nice ones at like Hallmark stores. Maybe some stationary stores that carry scrapbooking books. I know Creative Memories has a nice wedding album, you can probably find someone in or around your area to order one. Also go to places that sell cameras and develope film they usually carry albums as well and craft stores..... i hope this helps a bit.

here's site for hallmark

and there's this...i'm thinking of doing this. you make a scrapbook of your pictures and then it gets printed out in a hard cover book. you design everything on your computer.

also...maybe just google wedding albums or something and i'm sure you will be able to find something online.

Have you tried ebay?  I'm not sure what the quality would be like, I've never looked for them, but I would imagine they'd have some higher quality ones that are still way less than $450!
