In my opinion food in Dominican is way better than food in Cuba, no matter what hotel you stay at. I would go with Dominican for sure...

I went to the Paradisus twice, once for a friend's wedding two years ago and then again this past July for my own honeymoon. I love the resort and it's even better now because it is adults only (normally kids don't bother me at all but for some reason they just don't equate with romantic honeymoon :hehe . I have never been to the one in the Dominican but it looks pretty nice too. Just for the record though the food at Paradisus is amazing and I am one of the pickiest eaters ever.

Dominican!! You'll have an amazing time there!! As one poster mentioned, the food is much better. The staff are awesome. Not to say Cuba isn't great, but personally I think you're getting more for your money in Dominican then you would in Cuba.Happy honeymoon planning!!

| I'm going to the Paradisus Rio De Oro for my honeymoon. I leave tomorrow for my wedding at the Playa Pesquero and then the following week we go to the Paradisus. When are you leaving cause I will post my experiance when I return in two weeks....I have heard nothing but good things about the Paradisus and trip advisor has very good reviews! Food is supposed to be excellent a plus for Cuba haha! I'm looking more forward to this resort then the one I'm getting married at. One of my customers that comes into work was at the Paradisus last year for a wedding and absolutly loved it. He said the spa that they have there has a glass floor that you could look down while getting a massage and look down to the ocean!!! I can't wait to experiance this! Happy picking I will write my review when I get back hopefully it won't be too late!
