Hi Ladies:

I know I'm still just a lurker but I am so excited today I need to get it out or I'll burst.  I'm starting my new job today.  I left my last job due to complicated circumstances right after my wedding (looong story) and have been off all summer (plz. don't hate me).  A while ago I called a head hunter kind of guy and he found me a job right away and I start today.

I loves it.

Thanks for letting me share.

Morning!

Congrats! Hope your first day goes well for you! What is it that you do?

I work in construction.  I build new homes (well not literarly) but I manage the site.  However, this is a new project so until we  break ground I am helping with building/setting up the sales office and then back to playing in the mud.  So excited...

***June 21st, 2008 best day ever***

Hi Mag

Pabsgirl - sounds like a pretty awesome job

Today is another super fantastic kill me now day.  My entire wedding fund has lost about 50% of its equity.  The money I need to close my house is gone up in smoke and all in all if this market keeps up I will pretty much be able to kiss my job goodbye.  FAN ***ING TASTIC!!

Oh...question for people who cook..I am making chicken and asparagus for dinner tonight...the chicken is in the orangejuice, soy sauce and garlic recipe i found on the internet...what pasta sauce goes with that????

Could you do rice instead?

Good idea!!! im not gonna lie though, Im a little afraid of rice...any tips on how to make sure its not mushy?

ooo, the no santa thing....that one sucked

wanna know how I found out? We were shopping for christmas presents, and I noticed that there were alot for my sister. Mom said

'not all of them are from me, you know. Some are from the fat guy'

thanks mom

Smooth move Mom   I found out that Santa didn't exists at school.  Those damn bratty kids that think they know everything.

I found out because i was going back to school and my mom and dad knew it was an age where all the kids would start talking about it and the year before it was already out there but they still managed to get me to believe for 1 more year so..before i went back to school they sat me down and read me this book all about the guy named st.nick and how he would go around in the town and give presents to little children and then he died and the parents carried on the tradition for him...in one shot i found out no santa, toothyfairy or easter bunny....but...they did it so nicely...i was ok!heheheh
