| I don't have a picture here at work, but I've got a round brilliant-cut solitaire diamond on a very delicate-looking yellow gold band (I think it's around 1.5-2mm). I'm curious what wedding bands solitaires look good with. I'm not too big on the ones that are shaped to curve around the diamond, since someday I might only want to wear the band, or pass it on. Am I limited to a plain, thin gold band, or are there some with a bit of sparkle that look good with solitaires? Thanks ladies!

This is my set. My w-ring is a semi-eternity band. My solitaire's diamond is raised up enough that my w-ring sits flush against the e- ring.

That's really pretty - I was concerned about how the plain band would look next to one that had diamonds in it, but with the diamonds sitting in a channel, it ties it in very nicely...

| Pretty much anything will look good with a solitaire. My e-ring is a round brilliant cut that sits quite high. The band is platinum with channel-set diamonds on either side (about half the band). The w-band matches with channel set diamonds. Sorry I don't have a picture to post from this computer.
