I got matching diamond, amethyst & gold necklaces for my BMs for $7 each. I've bought more expensive plastic jewelry before. So I figure how can I go wrong? Be careful not to get addicted. It is easy.
I also wouldn't buy an item with its main stone as a diamond. You don't really know where it is coming from. I haven't bought a diamond on there just because if I ever get a diamond, I would want it to be a Canadian diamond. But that's a personal choice.

I know this thread is "fairly" old but...I just wanted to update my experience with this company and give fellow brides a warning...
My first order I have never received. It has been 8+ weeks since it was shipped. Now finally at the 8+week mark I can do a claim to get my money back. Now I figured it wouldn't be that difficult....WRONG....they email you a form...you print and fill the form out and then you have to mail it back to them. OH wait.....you have to get the form NOTARISED...you can't fax, email or otherwise the form back. It has to be mailed.
Needless to say I'm not very impressed. If (I mean when because there are a couple concerns I have about the second order but we'll not get into that) the second order doesn't show up we have to go through the whole claim form, notary AGAIN....
I know many people who have ordered and received their jewellery from this company with no problems. It's just very frustrating dealing with this company if you do have problems.
Sorry for the rant.....

That's good to know - OMG Notarized? That's crazy! Thanks for the heads up and sorry you have to go through this.

so after all that fuss..they came...both orders came in on the same day. they look ok. for the amount of money i paid it was a good deal. i wont deal with them again because of the frustration and if you have to do claim the BS but they did come....just very very very late.

| i just bought 2 things from there today i have to say the larger stones, dont look like good quality fromt eh pic, adn it doesnt tell you what grade they are, but the 2 things i bought even if they are fake- which they say they arent- would still be a good deal i would maybe call and find out more about the return policy if i were to buy say an engagment ring, then maybe you could return it if its really crap when you get it also you should only pay duty on the price you pay not the compare price

most of the items from Bidz.com get stuck at customs, so just be prepared to pay Duties and taxes on them.... and customs is customs, they can keep it there as long as they want...
