Has anyone else made their own wedding bands? There is a jewellery studio in Toronto called The Devil's Workshop that has a Wedding Band Workshop -- you go in for an afternoon and you actually get to make your own wedding bands. And it is actually less than we expected to pay for bands bought commercially. Plus, I get to use a torch and bend metal! I love doing that!

I am ridiculously excited about this and can't think of a better possible way for us to create this everlasting symbols for each other. For that extra romantic touch we will get to make each other's rings

Thats awesome.. I would LOVE to do that.. unfortunately, I live in Ottawa and I'm too lazy (and poor) to travel to TO for our rings!

Great idea though!

wonderful idea!!!  i would be so nice to do this.... but FH and I have our rings... and we love them.  It would be a neat idea for an anniversary band as well!

Wow, I just re-read my original post and realize how much it sounds like an ad for the studio. Ha ha! I am just really excited about it. We booked our appointment and consultation today and we go in late March to get sized and price materials. Now I can cross one more item of my list of to-do's.
