Our friends have invited me and dh on a cruise to the Southern Caribbean. It leaves Nov. 30 from Peurto Rico, and makes stops in Aruba, Dominica, Netherlands Antilles, and St. Maarten and returns Dec. 6 to Peurto Rico. Its with Princess cruise lines. I'm so excited , but we've never been on a cruise and were just wondering if anyone had any feedback on that cruise line and what to expect or any advice for first time "cruisers".

| I've done a Princess Cruise to the Western Caribbean. I really enjoyed their entertainment and there's tons of stuff to do on the ship during the day if you don't go into port, or it's a sea day. The staff is great and very helpful and always eager to make sure you have what you want. The food isn't too bad either, although I've had better food on the Holland America. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Also, for other info on the ports go to www.cruisecritic.com, that's where I go to book all my excursions.

| You will love it. Personally I have been to Aruba, Domenica and St. Maarten. On a cruise you can do as little or as much as you want. One thing to consider is you will have to get up early - my only complaint. So plan a few extra days of down time when you get back to catch up on sleep. You may also want to eat at the late seating for dinner. This gives you time to come back to the ship take a nap and freshen up before dinner. Enjoy!
