Thanks - you have all made me feel SO much better.
I'm going to call the jeweller and ask if the wedding rings can be re-made into a single band. It's what I wanted initially but was talked out of it because of the way the e-ring setting is.
I tried on just a single band of diamonds, and while it didn't fit into the setting, it was the look I wanted and is still what I want.
I'll just tell them that they don't sit right together, are too big for my finger, and not really what I want.
I will keep you all posted.
