| So we have been trying to decide between a resort on the mainland in Mexico or somewhere in Cozumel. And we choose Cozumel. We decided to go with a resort now called " Holiday Village White Sands" and it used to be called " Occidentail Allergo Cozumel", it's a 4 star. It is going through reno's right now and has been since October 2007 and re-opens in May. I have been keeping an eye on prices through I Travel 2000 and it's been pretty steady, but this morning it dropped by a few hundard bucks so we booked it. Ahhh, it feels that much better to have something thats so big finally booked. We leave the 2nd of June (when it is one of the hottest times of the year) and come home on the 9th. We really want to do some snorkling and some deep sea fishing. Also, go and take the ferry to Playa Del Carmon and check out all the cool shops and locations there. So really we get to experience Cozumel and still be able to enjoy the mainland. I can't wait for the Mexican food, my family is huge on hot spicy Mexican food, so we both cannot wait to eat. Yeah we so excited!!! Has anyone ever visted this resort? Trip advisor has both extreams, mostly for the service and food. People either love it or really hate it. So we'll see.
