Do you think it would be easy to set up lighting like that on the ceiling??

I think it would depend on your venue

It definately depends on your venue..

my venus has hooks on the ceiling where decorations can be hung.. I think most venues that have weddings on a regular basis would have something like this!

You should call them and see what they say!

Goodluck - that is beautiful by the way (very similar to what I'm getting)

It would definately depend on the place.

But if you are allowed, I have seen tulle on ebay for relatively cheap prices, and if you are able to (I don't know your date), if you get lights after christmas, they are UBER cheap!

Thank you, everyone! I will check with the reception venue.
Now I know I would need hooks! That's a start...

I agree with PP's, and it's also great to get them on sale after Christmas.

One thing to keep in mind: bulbs can get REALLY hot and I've heard horror stories about tulle catching on fire.  They cost a bit more, but you're really safer getting LED bulbs, which have come down a bit in price since a few years ago (and also go on sale after Christmas).

Make sure you check out your venue's policy on hanging/ putting holes into any surfaces etc, or if they have hooks before you purchase your items.
