I can't believe this...
So I was really excited to have my little half brother and sister in my wedding. My little sister was really excited, helping me with everything and really looking forward to it.

They both came to me today and let me know that their mother has decided to get married on the same day as me now. I booked everything two-3 months ago and told everyone and she knew it was that date. Now they can't be in my wedding party or even be there....I am sooo upset!! I think this was realyl selfish of her to do. There is no significance to that date for her...she just picked it. I am soo mad...and hurt.
I don't know what to do now.

oh wow that is hard.  Did she just recently get engaged or she has been engaged for sometime? Oh wow (((hugs))) I hope something can be worked out where she can change her date since you already booked your vendors.

That really sucks!

Not to read into it, but blended families can be complicated, and this sounds like a power-strugle. If she knew your date, it sounds like what she's doing is asking your half brother & sister to choose between you & her - between their family of origin & their new blended family. It shouldn't be a choice, they should be able to be involved in both families. But I shouln't read too much into it b/c I don't know the situation.

Can your half-siblings discuss with her? Can they tell her that they'd like to be involved in both weddings.

Could you guys work it out to maybe arrange it so that one ceremony is at 11am or noon and the other's not untill later afternoon or even 5pm?? Just an idea.
