| So I know that the ladies that are invited to your bridal shower should also be invited to the wedding. What about inviting ladies to your stagette who won't be invited to the wedding?? The reason I am asking is I have a few girlfriends from a past workplace and from college. I would like to invite them to the stagette, but due to number restrictions, they won't be invited to the wedding. If you were invited to a stagette, would you automatically assume you are invited to the wedding as well?? We have not sent out our wedding invitations yet (as we are getting married in August, invites will be going out mid-June), but my bridesmaids want to get the word out now about the date of my stagette just in case people need/want to book time off work. So if they ask these ladies now, before invites go out, and then these ladies don't get an invite. Ahhhh.......what to do?

* whips out the umbrella and opens it for impending downpour of ridicule * haha
You can pretty much have whoever you want. Ettiquette books I've read (hence the umbrellA ) say that showers are different, mainly b/c ppl are bringing gifts to a shower most times. The stagette is just a fun event that normally doesn't require a gift from attendee's. Invite who you want, enjoy the celebration!! cheers!

| hmm thats a tough one. Everyone at mine are coming to some part of the wedding (2 are just to the dance, rest to all of it) For FH's party the BM invited people that we aren't having at the wedding. A couple of them have another wedding that night so they wouldn't be coming anyways. The one other guy well we've been like damn should we invite him? I think this depends on the people and the type of wedding

Some of the people who are coming to my stagette tonight are not invited to the wedding. Some are friends of FH sister (who is a bm), others are co-workers, the same is true for my FH's stag. We're just having fun, no gifts. Most people I spoke to said they didnt have to be going to the wedding.
