100% Nylon. i googled it a bit, and I see some companies that do it, but not much instruction. it looks like i need acid dye and heat. anyone have tips?

huggs3 (4/1/2008) Get it professionally done. its not something you can do with a bucket of die and a washing machine at home. at least not easily!Do you have experience with it or are you basing it off my post? I'm only asking because I didn't get to thoroughly research the material and dying, Thats just info some company offered about how they dye their fabrics.

I think Christichi is right, Nylon is a synthetic fabric and unlike cotton, it will probably repel the dye.
I would not do it at home. Specially black, you might end up with a dirty gray instead.

I think taking them back might be a good idea.... you wouldn't want anything that doesn't look perfect for the big day... there are beautiful though!!
