| Warning..mini-rant... I just feel I have put so much effort into this wedding planning and things just keep going in the wrong direction... First it was changing the wedding date for various reasons Then it was seeing my dress come in wrong (poorly made, wrong appliques, train to short, and problems with the design) - i am now waiting for the new one to arrive..worried it still won't be right 1 Bridesmaid dress came in the wrong colour (currently being shipped back) I was misquoted on my flowers and to get what i really want now have to go up about 500 dollars (I really thought I clearly explained myself) My photographer called to say he can no longer do our wedding and has outsourced the work, but assures me this new person will do quality work (they have worked together before) I know everyone will go through their own trials and tribulations...I just needed a space to vent. I used to think really positive...things will just work out...I really wanted to enjoy this process...but I am having trouble ...

| Don't get yourself too down. Every wedding has it's ups and downs otherwise this site wouldn't exist. Although it seems you've had your fair share of problems, just think of it this way.... you're getting all the headaches over and done with early on. This way by the time your date rolls around all the kinks will be ironed out and you'll have a fabulous day! Just keep your chin up and think of what a stellar job you're doing by dealing with all these problems, still working your 9-5 job (I'm assuming) cooking dinner every night, taking care of the usual household stuff... and still look amazing doing. My gosh you must be SUPER WOMAN!!

My gosh you must be SUPER WOMAN!! I agree. Try not to let it get you down. Remember that in the end, no matter what dress you're wearing, what photographer you have, what the weather is like, you are marrying someone you love very much. Nothing will change that. Not your dress, BM's dresses, photographer. I agree that all those elements are important, but none are more important than you and your FH. Try to focus on the end result and remember that no matter what you are marrying him!

Everything will be ok. We all have our rough pathces... My sis also got the wrong wedding dress for her wedding - 1 motnh prior! and she was able to get another one, even better than the 1st. Her cake was the wrong colour on the day of, her florals were a pain in the butt to get right, and her vieo/photo company was extremely bad to deal with and totally screwed her over... BUT, all this seems so miniscule now.... after the wedding. She was freaking out, aving a really hard time as well, but she got through it, and you will too.... all that matters is your new beginning and the love you guys share. Keep trying to be positive!
