Hello,

Fh and I really really need to get on to buying wedding bands, but I have no idea where to go...I don't really want to go to any of the big well known stores like peoples becasue I am thinking that I could get a better deal at a smaller place....does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go?

Thanks!

My FH and I dealt with Ed from Odyssey Jewelery Designers, their website is: http://www.odysseyjewellery.com/index.htm

We paid $400 for each of our bands Peoples were changing $600 for my band and $850 for his band and they were almost exactly the same band as we brought him a picture and and gave him the widths of the bands we wanted.

D&L Jewellery - Jewellery Exchange (Yonge/ Dundas)

Their prices are excellent, I saw one 18K white gold half eternity band (0.25 ctw, I think)is sold for $250 (tax-in).  Good luck.

FH and I are having them custom made by Les Sarak. From what FH tells me - It was far cheaper to have my ring made by Les then it was to buy "off the rack". Friends of ours just has Les make their and I think it was only a couple hundred bucks a piece. PM me if you want more details.

The Gold Smith Shoppe at Erin Mills Town Center in Mississauga is FANTASTIC! The ower is an actual professional jewler and can make you wanted ever you want, or take something and change it... whatever.  His quality is amazing... and his prices are even better! ~ alli xoxo

Omni at hwy 7 is where we first went to look at having my ring made and they told me for a solitary .50 car. with the quality and cut I wanted in a white lattice setting they would charge me 10,000 (this was April last year). The store (the one I mentioned above) we finally got my ring at made my ring with a .60 center stone princess cut flanked by a .15 princess cut stone in a lattice setting white for only 3500 and the stones were a better cut and quality than I had originally asked for.
