| When is your wedding date? How about the 40's & 50's Classic Hollywood? Or a summer's night in Italy or Paris? Breakfast at Tiffany's anyone?

| You don't necessarily need a theme. are you more looking for something to unify everything in the wedding? If so, I think it would depend on a few things: -when is your wedding date? Summer, spring, fall, winter? -how big is your wedding? -where are you getting married, where is the reception? Is it a hruch ceremony followed by a banquet hall? Ceremony and reception all at one place? Outdoor portions at all? - most importantly, what are you and your FH like? These things will help guide you as to what your wedding will be like. For example - mine will have the ceremony outdoors followed by a reception at a community hall. My dress has a vintagy feel, but the my colours are very fresh and fun. So, I'm trying to tie in the vintage feel with the modern colours, I'm incorporating outdoor things in my reception hall (potted flowers as the centrepieces), and had the BM dresses tea lenght since outdoor ceremony is less formal than a church ceremony. If you let us know more about your wedding date, you and your FH, we'll do our best to help you out. The ladies on here are excellent!

I don't really think you need a 'theme' either...but those colors scream Elegance to me...

| We don't have a theme or even set colours for that matter. I just chose a group of colours I liked and I've been collecting bits and pieces for the past 10 months! When you mush it all together it pretty much just looks like springtime (without the pastels! LOL) Is there a theme you've seen that you like? With the colours you mentioned, it sounds very elegant and rich & sumptuous. There are LOTS of inspirations on here!

| I started with a beach theme, but I realized that the "beach colours" were not exactly what I was looking for. Now my wedding is chocolate brown and tiffany blue... and I've dropped the sea shells and whatnot all together. I am trying to keep things elegant and adding a little shine whenever I can. So, you can still have colours and not necessarily a real theme. You can always save a theme for other fun occasions.
