*sigh* My wedding is in five months, and I still have NO idea what type of centerpiece to do. My reception is in the Ancaster old mill (the room is basically surrounded by windows and skylights) so I don't have to do big centerpieces. But the tables are quite long. So I was wondering if any of you ladies have an idea for a centerpiece that is natural looking and would look nice on a long table. I'm quite stuck on this one. Oh and my colours are red/ivory/brown

Thanks

My venue has long rectangle tables to to help fill the table we are having our centrepiece and then votives down each side. I got the votive holders at IKEA, 4 for less than $2. The votives are a party pack from Michaels

Coffee beans!!! Put them in a vase with a candle in the middle and voila!  If you want, put it on a mirror with smaller votives around it -  My colours are basically the same (brown/white/red/yellowish-gold) and this is what I will be doing, although I won't take credit for the idea, lol, I got it from the company/woman I am getting my chair covers from --> http://www.divineweddings.ca/Otherrentals.aspx .  I'm hoping to rent the vases from her as well because its cheaper than buying them.  The picture doesn't even do it justice, it looks awesome when the candles are lit, and the coffee smells great.

I don't know if this will work with your long tables, it just depends on what your version of 'big' centrepiece is!

First off, I have to say that I just looked at your venue and its FRIGGEN FABULOUS!!!!!!!!! it looks So romantic and beautiful

I think you definately want to have a table runners because they are so long.. and you dont have to stick to one centerpiece per table.. you could put a couple smaller ones in a row.. i think it would actually look more put together that way.. anyhow..

Here are some ideas I found (not really your colours, but you can imagine):
