| YOU COULD SCATER THEM ON THE TABLES BUT I WOULD USE THEM (INSTEAD OF SAND OR ROCKS) IN VASES WITH WHATEVER ELSE YOU WERE GOING TO HAVE, CANDLES, FLOWERS ETC. I THINK THAT WOULD LOOK REALLY COOL TO HAVE SEA SHELLS IN THERE INSTEAD OF THE NORM!~

I love the idea of a beach theme! It was my second choice (I'm a fall lover, myself!). If I were doing a beach theme, I think I'd take a clear, large, shallow, round bowl and fill it 1/3 with beach sand. Then, you can place some nice sea shells inside, just a few, and maybe three tea lights. You can put more sea shells around the bowl and, if you're having long tables, down the centre of the tables on either side to act as runners. If you wanted to have a bit more shine or sparkle to it, you could also get some of those oval, shiny, glass stones and put a few of them in the sand as well as around the bowl and down the table with the shells. If you want to make it look like the ocean or like the sea, you could get those in clear white, pale blue, and/or green. I've never tried it or really seen a picture of this, but it looks good in my head!!
