Hi, I'm new, hubby to be and I are planning a Sept 2010 wedding. We'd really like to go to Italy since he's from an Italian family, but are wondering if we can afford it, how to find a good planner, etc. Any tips?

A friend of mine got married in Rome. Just her and her husband went - had the ceremony and a honeymoon. Then came home to have a reception where they played their wedding video. It was beautiful!!

We were planning on getting married in Italy but my Fiance sister is pregnant and we really want her there. So we are going to get married here and might just renew our vows there in a few years. Here are some of the websites we used.

This is the location we choose the prices were reasonable. You can make a breakdown of stuff you want or dont want. Its a really good setup.

Hope that helps!

Hi,
Not sure if you have decided on your wedding plans as you posted your question in May but thought I would share my plans. We are having an outdoor ceremony in Tuscany in June 2010 and made the decision to use Tuscan based wedding company www.weddingsintuscany.info. Chiara Sernesi is our wedding planner and has been wonderful to work with, very efficient and friendly. She is helping us in every aspect of the planning stages and has definitely made the process much more enjoyable.

Chiara has an excellent knowledge of the area and has been able to find an amazing venue (Tuscan farmhouse) & vendors that suit our small budget which was a huge relief for us as we had a few concerns that we would not be able afford the Tuscan wedding we desired. So maybe she can help you figure out what to do.

I hope this helps and good luck with the planning of your wedding!
