Hello! I live in North Bay, ON. My wedding is in September and we're using a fall theme. We're using silk flowers and I'm having a really hard time finding good quality flowers in North Bay. We have some already, which were bought from a store called The English Butler. That store has recently closed and now there are only two places in town that sell fake flowers: Walmart and Dollarama! No need to explain why I don't want to use Dollarama flowers... And, not that there is anything wrong with Walmart on the whole, but their flowers suck! They just look SO fake. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good craft store in Sudbury that carries nice flowers? Also, does anyone have any tips for flower balls? I'd like to make some for my flower girls but I've been really discouraged lately because of the lack of flowers available. Incase if you'd like to know, our colours are Ivory, Champagne, Latte, and Chocolate brown. Here's a picture of one of my bridesmaids, in her dress (not altered yet), holding a sampling of the flowers we already have. We're using Gerber dasies, roses, and a few other random flowers. Thanks!

| Have you thought about trying ebay? I know a lot of ladies on CB have used ebay vendors who have real touch silk flowers, and have been completely happy with their purchases. Lots of them offer single stems too. Just a thought. Good luck in your DIY adventures!

| Thanks for the tips, ladies! I'll talk to Louise and see what she says. Otherwise, I just found out that there's a Michael's store in Sudbury and I was wondering if anyone has been there or to any other Michael's? What are their flowers like?

Hi, I am from North Bay as well, but I am getting married in Southern Ontario. As for getting help with flowers, I would recommend Judi from Special Day Designs and rentals. She can help you with floramatiques or real touch flowers that look amazing (or anything else you like!)
She is located in Alliston but is a great help in consultations and helping you get what you want.

| Hi there, I am also definetly going faux with my flowers. I found this amazing website. They are out of the states, but shipping is only $10! There are sooo many choices. I seriously spent hours deciding what I want to go with. wedideas.com
