... on a side note, I went to Michael's and the manager was not there.. inquired about making order with an associate and apparently they only do the discount if you order obscene quantities of the stuff.. so no 25% off the cardstock..

The problem is the cardstock I need is the stuff that costs 1.69 a sheet, and they don't go on sale as far as I've seen.. luckily I don't need too many, I'm using strips of it to accent my invites and favour boxes.

I bought all my invite supplies at Michaels.  I just started buying early and using the 40% off coupon each week on 1 purchase each week.  Ended up being cheap that way!

We did it!  We are now husband & wife!

Our Peanut will be joining us around Aug. 2!

Hey there,
I got 20x26 card stock from paper-source.com I paid 1.00 a sheet it was sent out on a Friday and here on Monday.
They do have other paper there as well for invites, but Im making the pocket folds so I needed a big size. I will be ordering more from them like my envelopes, and star dream paper for the inside of the invite.
I got some ribbon at micheals for 1.95, and just got a hot glue gun, and slue.So far its will be like 100.00 for 70 or more invites, with my rsvp, map, and registery card. Also all the envelopes

Getting married to the love of my life... and the father of my beautiful little boy!!! YAY

I was going to write you back on that one, but I figured someone else would have jumped all over it..

A lot of times they have coupons in the flyer, but if you're like me and don't get the flyer b/c we don't have one in our city (I commute to work and michaels is on my way there), or even if you forget the coupon, just ask them at the register if you can get the 40% of an item, and they (or at least they do in our store) get you to write down your name and postal code (and possibly something else).. and I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, you can only do this once a week??  I actually haven't done it, but read stuff on previous old posts and have seen other people in line do it.. Usually I'm buying stuff that's on sale, and they don't do the discount on that.

Also watch at michaels for in store 50% off coupons.  I just got my invites and truffle boxes this week invites reg. 49.99 x2 and favour boxes 34.99 X3.  after taking a few trips to Michaels (fortunately I live in Kitchener communte to both Hamilton and Burlingotn so used all the stores in those location when i was in the area to save on gas) got everything for $115.00.  So excited since they are the first purchases I have made for the wedding.

BTW the coupons are still available today (its the last day).
