| Ladies, when they tell you to NOT wash your hands with your rings on, and NOT put on lotion, and NOT shower etc etc etc... please listen to them! I left my rings on for almost 2 years straight, and they were all gummy looking! I took the e-ring to be sized, and they polished and buffed it and it looks exactly like when he gave it to me! I'll NEVER wash or do anything like that with them on again!

| I always take my rings off when applying lotion or cooking or cleaning with solvents.. I never take them off when I shower or do dishes.. I am in the mall quite often and Mappins cleans my rings for free.

I personally dont like taking my rings off for any reason.. unless I'm kneeding dough or hamburger meat..
mainly because I would lose my head if it wasnt attached (so says my mom).. I would SO lose them!!
I just put lotions on freely and then clean them once a week! its really easy to clean yourself.. just boil water in the microwave and then let your rings sit for a few minutes in the water and use a toothbrush and dishsoap...thats what my jeweler told me to do!

I never take off my ring! When I started shopping for a wedding band, I was shocked at how much of a difference there was between my ering and the w-rings. I had to get my ering replated! Polishing it and whatnot didn't even make it close to what is was when I got it replated. I didn't learn my lesson though, I always moisturise, wash, whatever with my ring on. I am too scared to lose it!

The place I got mine from told me just to clean it each week with a toothbrush and dish soap as well. I bought a baby toothbrush since the bristles are a little softer. I was also told that I should clean it every week cause dirt can get in between the diamonds and loosen them.

I take mine off to clean, even if I'm going to be wearing rubber gloves. I just put it in the box it came in so i don't misplace it in my travels.

I take my ring off when I put lotion on, or when I'm at home doing stuff like cleaning, cooking, shower, etc. I wash my handswith it on... I don't like to sleep with it on though... never liked sleeping with rings on... hehehe... I do get it cleaned/polished every once in a while and it goes back to the way it looked on day 1
