| i think it is definitely a great idea if you are worried! my best friend lost his ring in the ocean on his honeymoon in Italy! he was devastated and not as sentimental as your FHs ring. if it makes you sleep better at night than it is a good idea!!

I think it is something all couples should consider .. if you really think about it. I mean .. you go on your honeymoon and ppl just know you are newlyweds .. and well .. anything can happen, from losing it in water, to having the rings stolen .. and with the gorgeous e-rings we all have .. it's worth considering wearing just plain simple bands on our honeymoons to avoid these things, yanno....

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.
Making the decision to have a child-it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.
The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom.
To understand a mother's love, bear your own children.
Mother is the name for God on the lips& in the hearts of little children.
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
Mrs. M and loving it!!!

Great idea, and congrats on snagging a good deal! Not a chance in heck anybody's going to pry my rings off my finger though, lol... I've waited 33 years to find my prince charming, and I'm going to be flashing my rings to every stranger I see and screaming at the top of my lungs 'I'm marrrrrrrrieeeeeeeed!!', hehehe... well, we're not going anywhere tropical where I can lose them in the surf and sand though, so I guess it's a bit different

| I'll tell you though, my friend was crushed. They were playing around in the water and as he through his hands up, the ring flew off and he sees in flying through the air and yells " Amy [wife's name] my ring!!!!!!" he dove to no avail and even offered several beach goers 100 euros to whoever could find it! this was 2 or 3 days into his 3 week honeymoon- bet he wishes he had your idea... can you even imagine the heartbreak if your ring is an heirloom???

Sadly, I probably won't be able to convince my FH to buy me another ring but I do think it's a cool idea.

I think it's a great idea!! If FH and I go to Europe this summer, we just may have to do the same. Although I'm not sure what he'll think about wearing a ring that wasn't blessed during the ceremony-however I understand not wanting to take your ering and band down south. I wouldn't take mine either-way to much $$ on our fingers to chance it!!
