Hey ladies, I am just curious as to how long everyones commute to work is? Right now mine is about 10 minutes with Traffic, however if we buy the house that were looking at it will become a 45 minute commute .

Yeah, i am not looking forward to the drive if we get this house. But I think lots of people have a long commute.

My commute to teach one day a week is two hours. My commute to work on my thesis is about 10 15 feet from my bedroom to my office and my commute to my part-time job is about 8 minutes driving or 25 minutes on rollerblades.

Wow Kris, there is no way in hell i could handle sitting in my car for two hours.

i put up with my drive. i work out of the city and my job requires me to go to the bank to do deposits so i esentially get all my gas paid for for the entire year its a pretty sweet deal. i could get a bit of a better paying job downtown but then i would have to give up like $300 a month for parking if the place doesn't have their own parking.

Before going on mat leave mine was 25 minutes on a good day, and 35-45 in traffic.  Sometimes on the way home on Fridays it can get pretty hairy since I have to take the 400N and so does everyone with a cottage.  Those days we usually take Weston Rd and it can take an hour or more.

meh. it's just one day a week and the drive between ottawa and kingston is pretty good (divided highway and not too busy). much better than living away from Trace!
