Everything looks fabulous michelle! Dh and I did the same thing with our house...bought one that needed a lot of cosmetic fixing up and then spend months working on it ourselves...and man, when I look around now, it feels SO awesome to see the changes we've made and how fantastic everything looks now You did a great job on the floor there - I know how finicky doing sticky tile like that can be

Aw thanks ladies I love my bathroom! I'm at my parents for the week and I am crossing my fingers that maybe "magically" when I get back home there will be a sink in that bathroom (a girl can dream!)I totally love the floor though... we bought the box for like $20, and we still have a crapload left! Amazing to think that floor barely cost us $10 then!

Did you put the stick tile down on top of an existing floor? How did you do the tiling around the toilet, or did you take the toilet off? (I'm thinking of doing the stick tile in our powder room for a quick update) Looks great by the way!

Thanks for the great heh heh And, I will admit I still haven't finished the tile around the toilet yet - just what you see in front there (took me forever just to do that). But I will be going around the toilet when I do finally get to it... trust me - it's hard (if you're getting the good thick tiles!). That is why I have yet to finish it yet! But I went over the old floor. I had to use some stuff to even it out (the old floor was embossed vinyl), and that was messy and a little difficult, but the new floor is looking so good it's worth it! We still don't have the sink in, but we FINALLY got the blinds up over the weekend, and it's so nice not having to run downstairs to use the toilet in the middle of the night
