| I've been looking into renting an aisle runner. It's going to be put on carpet. It seems like the price range varies from anywhere between $35 to buy to $225 to rent! (not talking about paper runners) Here are my questions... Some of these are "fabric", some are carpet. Obviously carpet is the better one out of the two, but if I had to go with fabric, will it be very thin? I'm not sure what kind of fabric they use in aisle runners (unfortunately, I can't go to the stores and check them out because I'm planning long-d right now). I've attached a sample picture...the lady tells me that this "fabric"...would you consider this pretty good for use on carpet? This is going to cost between $50-100 to RENT. However, Weddingstar is also SELLING "non-woven fabric runners" for $50 (see link below). Logically, the $50-100 rental has to be better than the Weddingstar one right? Anyone have experience with this? TIA! RENTAL (FABRIC):

| I don't know for sure, but I think the stuff in the link is made out of this sort of weird fabric that is somewhere between tissue paper and felt, kinda see through, michaels has circles of it that go over jars and stuff. I don't think it would be very good to walk on, but I'm not sure, it's hard to tell from the picture. Do you have a fabric land or some other type or fabric store in your area? You could just buy a some fabric and hem the edges (hemming normal fabric is really easy) You could probably find a bolt of brocade for a few bucks a yard, maybe you would need 4-6 yards depending on how long your aisle is.
