2000 + sq ft, with 2000 sq ft in the basement (unfinished right now). Just DH, myself and our 3 kg dog live here. It is way too big but we skipped the starter home step and plan to have our family and potentially retire in this home.

DH and I moved from a 450 sqft (1bed, 1bath) basement suite to an 1100 sq ft condo (2bed, 2bath). It is perfect for this stage of our life! Once we have our LO, and once he/she is around 5 or 6, we will probably buy a house....hoping about 1500-1600 sq ft.

We have a 1619 sq ft, 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house for DH & I, our fish, and hopefully soon, our 2 cats. Big enough for us and we love having our own bathrooms.

Our townhouse is about 2100 with the basement (partially finished) and about 1500 without the basement. We are happy with the space. It is a bit too small when we have company, but that's because they all seem to gravitate to the small kitchen. I could deal with a bigger kitchen.
*11-06-10 will be our day* Venue booked, officiant booked, DJ booked, florist booked, save the dates done, photographer booked!, dress bought, colours settled on.... and so much time to go!

| My house is a 1750 sq. ft house but we have a fully finished walk-out basement so I heard that you're supposed to count that in the square footage too. So it's probably around 2000-2200 sq. feet. It has 3 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms. It's a perfect size for us and there's lots of room for our family to grow

I think 1150 sq ft house. Me, DH and DD. We really want to move into a different house within the next few years though, as ours doesn't have a basement and we would prefer a bungalo.

Our house is 4700 square feet including finished basement. It is just my DH, me, our dog and cat and a we are expecting our first baby in March. Much to big for our little family but we are looking forward to filling it up.
