I plan on doing my own makeup. My colours are blue and yellow. I was thinking of having blue eyeshadow... but of course I don't want to look like I'm from the 80's either! LOL I'm always wearing browns and nudes so I wanted something a little different for my wedding.

I was wondering if anyone had any inspiration pics with blue eye makeup that doesn't look tacky... Thanks!

I don't really have any pics, but what about using blue eyeliner to spice things up?

I don't know waht you consider tacky, but I love love LOVEEEEE this pic of Eve and her makeup...

not sure what your skin coloring is, you may want to go with a different shade, you can go metallic to make a bold statement or smokier with a navy blue... but here's some more pics.

The trick with blue eye makeup is that everything else should be very subtle. Too much of everything makes you look like a cheap hooker!!! LOL.

ok...just kidding.

you could be dramatic...lol

Wowzers!

Thank you everyone for the pics! Great inspiration! I agree that I'd have to go lighter with everything else if I do a heavier eye... I love the Allmay picture... subtle, yet you can see the blue.

I am fair with brown eyes and hair with some freckles. I've asked about my colours and I've been told I'm a neutral so that makes it even harder to choose which colours! Haha

Thank you again for the inspiring pics!

you can always go to a makeup place and see what they recommend and then do it yourself on your wedding day. thats what i did for my grad and i just practiced putting in on.
