Congratulations again Amanda!!
I wanted to ask you though about your uninvited guest?? How did that go?

My Uninvited guest was acutally okay.  She came over to visit the day before we we left... she never apologized for anything but rather made small talk... i think that she wanted to let me know that she was going to be co operative on the vacation.  I did not spend much time with her... only once or twice as part of the larger group.  She was alone alot by her choice (or spent the time with our friends that had gone with us)... but all in all she went mostly unnoticed.   She did not really mix with the families that had gone, but that was fine with me as i seemed to be with family constantly..... so again... it was fine.

My wedding trip was amazing!!! I want to go again next week!! lol

wow, congrats to you for handling it all so well, I would have been devasted if I couldn't get married on the beach, and if it rained a lot on our trip I would have whined so much about not getting a 2nd week. I'm so so happy to hear that you didn't let it get you down.

The bride that got married right before was not acctepting anything less then the beach.  I spoke to her father at the supper and she told me that she had pitched a fit about getting married in the steak house.  However, he said that the rain help off long enough for the ceremony... but that they all had to run for cover after.  I went though my ceremony never thinking about the weather but rather looking at my Husband and listening to everything that was going on.

I figured better to go with the flow then worry about the weather.  Plus DH and I were far more comfortable in our attire with the rain then we would have been in the sun.  I would have melted and he would have been counting the seconds till his surge could come off.

Your review brought the knot in my throat!

It's so great to see that you still enjoyed yourself despite few hiccups, after all enjoying the wedding is something that sadly enough a lot of brides and grooms don't do.  Love the positive attitude you kept throughout your experience!

I love the pictures, you are glowing, and you both look GORGEOUS!  Forgive my ignorance even though his uniform looks very familiar to me not sure what it is, looks British…

I live in Toronto, and was wondering where you can find the bare foot sandals that you were wearing.  Love them!

HI Cora.

Thanks so much for the compliments.

My Hubby's uniform is the regimental uniform of the rcmp (worn for less formal occasions and also much more comfortable)... the lack of riding pants, stetson and high browns are probably throwing you off.   Although most Jamaican's called him "the Captian" or "the President"...lol.  Turns out that he was the first RCMP member ever married at this resort in uniform... or so we were told.

I added more pics to page three of my post in the newly wed section... if you are still interested in seeing more.

The barefoot sandals i got off of Ebay.  A girl in Markham makes them... look for Karens obsessions on ebay.  She was great to deal with... she made them just for me in the sizes and colors i wanted.

And just watched the video last night... LOVED IT!!  DH and i watched it with friends... we laughed and cried.. .we could even see the gator going around cleaning up the mess on the beach. I got to see all the funny faces that we made, and all the silly comments.  It was amazing to see how much fun we had. and how in love we are.

Buy the Video... totally worth it...

That was a super review.  It really gave me a great idea about what the hotel was like.

You took an awesome approach to your wedding and did not let anything spoil it.  All brides need to be like you girl .  Glad you had a great time and loved all the pics.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing everything.
