hello girls i am just looking for a photographer and videographer for our ottawa wedding. i am wondering if someone can recommend one? (we found one that we really really like in Toronto, but we can't really afford to pay for his services and travel costs) we like the photo-journalistic style, of course we'd like some formal shots as well... i don't know if this is really an option, but i'd like to own my pictures (not have to order prints from the photographer, but just get the edited shots on a cd) Ottawa brides, help!

| Hi Ariel It is so hard to choose a photographer sometimes. I wanted one that was creative, fun, had more of a photo-journalistic style and was not thousands of dollars. I found Naomi's site and fell in love with her photos. She is not from Ottawa but she might travel there. A friend of mine is the photographer that you maybe looking for. She was a long time photographer for Rolling Stones magazine and you can check her Rolling Stones photos here http://angelahubbard.com/. She was also the official photographer for Warner Bros at the Junos this year. She is originally from Ottawa and currently has offices in both Ottawa and Vancouver. Here is her wedding photography website - Vancouver Wedding Photographer. Her name is Angela Hubbard.

Our photographer is Derrick Rice, and he is amazing! He is immensely talented and specializes in the photo-journalistic style that you are looking for. He's an awesome guy too; can't say enough good things about him!

| thanks so much! i'm so happy i came accross this site, you guys are great. i'm just starting out, so i don't have much info yet, but i will surely post interesting stuff i come accross. i will check out the photographers and their prices, hopefully, i find the one thanks again
