| Hi girls, I just got my flight info from my travel agent and I'm shocked about the flight times departure 4pm (it's okay I guess, hotel arrival 1 pm) return 10pm at night (arrival in toronto 2 am??) we have some elderly and also some children...I'm not sure why but It's the first I've heard of this flight times.... | Wow, thats a strange departure time for Holguin. I went there two years ago in May and our depature time was 6:40 am. I leave in 20 days for Varadero and my flight time is 6:20 am. I have to say I like the late depature time, I've had a late flight to Varadero once and it was great. Felt like I gained a day because the day we left we were on the beach as long as we could....

| I know it's really strange, we've been goin to cuba 5 years now and this is the first time I've heard about this late flight...I don't mind the departure but the return flight?

| The return flight is hard, I hope it's not on a Sunday??? My friend was married at that resort 2 years ago, enjoy it, it is beautiful!

| anytime I've flown to Cuba its been late night departures and arrivals. I personally prefer it although I undersatnd the reasons you don't like it. I look for night departures when booking vacations. This way you don't lose a day of sun. I find that if you arrive in the morning you lose most of the day by the time you go through customs, grab your luggage, drop off other guests, and check in etc. and then when you have to leave you have to check out at noon and store your stuff in a room most of the day. When you arrive at night you lose sleep time which really doesn't matter because you can catch up on that on a lounge chair and check ouyt early morning so you don't have to worry about your luggage.  It all depends on which tour operator you booked with.

| I went to Cuba this past January (just on vacation though) and flew from Toronto. Our flight didn't leave until 3:30pm and we arrived around 8:30pm i think it was. We then sat on the bus for an hour to get to Blau Coste Verde (which is about 5 minutes from PP).Our return was 8pm and arriving in toronto at 1am so I think they are all late flights. We arrived and went straight to the disco as we were ready to drink by the time we did all that travelling..*lol*. Hope this helps.

I noticed that too....I leave this Friday to Playa Pesquero as well and our departure is 5pm but we get to the resort around 10ish I think so we loose a day
Our return home 2 weeks later isn't till 10:40 Pm which we get the day back but if check out is 12 pm that will suck. Oh well but I know what you mean i've always flown out at 5 or 6 am.
