My house has been for sale since February.  Since then about 5 other houses on my street have also gone up for sale.  When I drive around I notice for sale signs all over the place, but not too many sold signs.  I am starting to worry that my house is going to take a lot longer to sell than I originally thought.  We can't really afford to keep 2 houses running for much longer.  It's a very big stress point right now!

Have you talked about your concerns with your agent?  I would call my agent and find out about the housing market in your area.  Perhaps it comes down to being the wrong time to be selling, the price of your house may be too high, etc.

It could be any number of things.  But I would definitely be talking to the agent ... that's their job isn't it?

I agree... talk to your agent about options.  Marketing the property in a different way might help.  More open houses, flyers.... feature the home on their website.  Good luck with the sale.  It takes just that one right person to walk through your home.  Hopefully they are just around the corner.

I am in Niagara.  I have been told it's just not a great time to be selling.  So I guess I will have to wait it out a bit longer with fingers crossed!!!!
